Adel Imam, a 20-year-old boy, suffers from a below-the-knee amputation, which has severely impacted his mobility and ability to live a normal life.
Adel needs a below-the-knee prosthesis costing 65,000 Egyptian pounds. This is his only hope of walking again, becoming independent, and resuming his life.
His father is deceased, and his mother is the sole provider for the family. She has no income other than a pension of 2,250 Egyptian pounds and supports two other sons in different stages of their education, placing an overwhelming financial burden on her.
